About

IMG_7238

I’m an artist, writer, muse, amateur musician and I’ve got a burning desire to create.

After x number of years, I’ve finally decided to be true to myself and live my life’s purpose. Since then, I’ve found the Garden of Eden and that’s where I now live, work and play.

I am exploring the creative world 24/seven, where amazing things are happening as a result, and I’m burning to share what I’m learning.

In the early morning I lovingly tend to my garden, even the weeds. I then slowly mosey over to my studio where I paint till lunch. In the afternoons I write, play my keyboard and explore the creative world through meditation. Yes, I’m blessed.

I believe we all have this creative ability. We all have a voice inside of us that wants to express itself. I believe this is how our souls communicate with us and the world.

Creativity also opens our hearts, and when our hearts are open not even the sky is the limit.

It is my hope that you will find here inspiration:

Inspiration to express yourself;

Inspiration to find what you’re looking for; and

Inspiration to live your life’s purpose.

After all, we are hands held in unison, burning with the desire to create.

Your Soul Sister,
Lorlinda

      Thank you very much Michael. You made my day! I’ve been wanting to broaden the theme of my blog so I can include and talk about my other passions and the magic of creativity. (Maybe I’ll get to that today. You’ve inspired me!) I’m working on a painting right now called rebirth. My work has really been taking on a spiritual theme, and I’m really excited about sharing it. Thank you again. You also be well. Peace & Love, Lorlinda

    Your art absolutely takes my breath away! I’m kind of a nut for florals. Your Pink Poppy, the windswept tulips, and the teapot vases are my faves (so far… everytime I go back to look I find new favorites). The incredibly handsome black cat in your The Aura of Nine Lives reminds me of the gorgeous black I grew up with named Casino. I would encourage you to contemplate putting this link of your gallery at Fine Art America in your sidebar. Here’s where I learned how to do it:

    Thank you Gina for your beautiful words of encouragement. We are definitely from the same tribe. Also, thank you for visiting my artist website. You made my day, my week, my month. No one has ever told me my art takes their breath away. I’ve only been painting a few years; although I’ve always felt the calling deep inside. I’m very excited to finally being on my soul journey, and I’m very happy to meet you. Thank you for your support. You are a bright blessing. Lorlinda
